From 1998 to 2013. HSBC Bank.

I began in HSBC as a Computer Operator in Data Center in 1998 until 2001. In this position I

handled the AS400 system as an operator, I was the person in charge for the batch run, also to

coordinate with operators in E.U. and local programmers for the solutions to the problems during

this process. I perform the backups of the system, print the daily, weekly and monthly reports for

different departments. Also perform the periodic maintenance to the system (IPL s), supervise

the communication equipments maintenance located in the data center, was in charge of the

password control of different systems.

Eventually I was promoted to Technical Support, Network and Communication Officer. I work

in this position from 2002 to 2005. The main responsibilities in this position were to gave

technical support to end users in the bank, computers configurations (O.S. installation, network

configuration, applications tests, etc.), second level support to end users in branches. Technical

support to servers (configuration, maintenance, updates, etc.). Full support to core bank servers

(HWS), from configuration, terminals installation and full support in all technical levels. In the

communication field, I take care of the PBX (Telephone System) administration, telephones

configuration (analogs and digitals). Also use to bring support in WAN (Wide Area Network) of

the commerces connected to the bank and international circuits. During this period we complete

the implementation of centralized impression with the multifunctionals equipments, and we

complete the communications rooms patch panel organization, organization of IT equipments

deposit and also the implementation of the IT laboratory used for different tests of IT.

From 2006 to date, I m an IT Security Officer. As part of my work I coordinate different projects

like Connect Direct, Active Directory, also responsible for IT audits from internal department and

Group IT (Mexico), external audits (KPMG), in charge of follow up and periodically audit controls.

In charge and supervision of SOX law (Sarbanes Oxley) with wich we met the chapter IV

“Updated Financial Revelations”, section 404 “Internal Controls General Evaluation” . Other of

my responsabilities is the Hardware and software inventory of IT, all branches software licenses

in the country. Use to be related with the providers of IT through the periodically reports and

works completed in the bank.

Actually administering Plaza Edison Call Center Project, specifically all works related with IT,

Network, applications, CER, SER s and PTT s, information related with RBPM, budget.
