Slot Technician, Electronics Technician, etc. Resume
I started around 1979 working for Sircoma which later was renamed IGT. I was a bench technician up until the company moved to Reno. I could not go.
I next went to the 501 union hall where i started taking jobs both full time and part time as other technicians would go on vacation or get sick etc.
i probably worked in 11 union casinos in this regard for around 15 or more years. My salary was the prevailing union wages at the time. I learned
an awful lot working at so many differrent casinos therefore feel i could now handle almost anything on any shift. I recall my last job was at Circus
Circus where i had to keep over 3,000 machines up on either swing or graveyard shifts all by myself at times as well as the machines at Slots a Fun and Silver City.
I also had to move machines all over the place as machines had to be reoriented. I also worked on the bench repairing boards, hoppers, or whatever else
needed repairing. I repaired all videos and slots on the floor as well. I feel i won't need much training as i have worked on the oldest and newest
machines both. I also had to repair the games in the games rooms. During the times when the union had nothing for me i also worked at the old Marina
Hotel and the Union Plaza and at State Line (Whiskey Petes). In my spare times or between jobs i also ran a satellite sales and repair, install business both C-band and KU-Directv.
I also went to Hitachi Sales Corp. in Compton, California and repaired large screen tv's. I did not stay there long as my wife did not like California therefore had to move back to las vegas.
I also worked for Western Xray as a Ratheon Xray machine technician but they are no longer in business in las vegas but did learn the ins and outs of repairing / adjusting xray machines in hospitals. medical centers etc.
Between slots, tv's, satellite systems, cable tv, and xray machines i probably have around 25-30 years experience all told with most of it being in casinos..
If i may be of interest to you please call me on my cell phone at 702-***-****...
Sincerely,
Douglas Rudolph
