PRODUCT LINE MANAGER Knight LLC (Subsidiary of IDEX - NYSE: IDX) June 2004 to July 2017 Managed and grew Knight’s line of janitorial, laundry, warewash and dishmachine products, which comprised 75% of the company’s annual sales. Oversaw all sales and marketing efforts for the existing lines, as well as new product launches. Determined ROI and profit margins for new products, as well as 1st and 2nd year projections. Assisted sales teams with closing sales. Built relationships with clients in the industrial laundry, commercial kitchen, hotel and janitorial service industries. Visited customers at their locations, and analyzed their needs/demands. Developed concepts and ideas for new products. Worked with Johnson Controls to design an interface configuration based on a central control knob to reduce the number of driver controls. This design concept was later adopted by Chrysler.
Designed a concept information/entertainment systems for Johnson Controls that was then used by numerous auto manufacturers.
