• Led cross functional project team of 15 Engineers to work on design optimization of Suspension systems and Brake Systems.

• Implemented Just-in-Time (JIT) strategy to optimize throughput and reduce warehouse costs by as much as 7%.

• Designed the welding fixture, developed assemblies, generated BOMs, Mechanical drawings using GD&T by maintaining company’s policy of close tolerances and zero defects. Suspension Design Head, SAE BAJA, India August 2012 – April 2013

• Oversaw entire suspension design of the BAJA Vehicle.

• Designed the suspension using CREO and applied vehicle dynamics to overcome Rolling, Yawing and Pitch, and achieved an award for implementing an Anti-Roll bar for the first time in Indian BAJA which improved the Anti-Roll moment of the Vehicle.

Masters Project:

Fluid flow analysis - ANSYS

• Designed the Ball-Joint Valve and applied different fluid analysis like flow rate, pressure, temperature during the fluid flow from valve.

• Simulated the fluid flow of gasoline, water and air around the whole assembly. Matlab-Hybrid Electric Vehicle Project: Case study of Hybrid Vehicle.

• Created a Simulink model in Matlab® as a part of case study for the electrified powertrain of 2014 Honda Accord.

• Improved MPGe of Honda Accord in city by redesigning DC/DC Buck Boost Convertor.

• The new control system contributed to a 39% increase in fuel economy by switching three drive modes as appropriate per the driving conditions, and by enhancing the thermal efficiency of the engine and the energy transfer efficiency. In addition, the following fuel economy performance was achieved. o EV range: 13 miles

o Charge Depleting (CD) fuel economy: 115 MPGe

o Charge Sustaining (CS) fuel economy: 46 MPG

Applied Thermodynamics Project: Designed a Thermal Power Plant.

• Compared thermal efficiency and operating cost of vapor power cycles to select most efficient for minimizing losses and gaining cheaper rate electricity.

Senior Year Project: On-Board Tire Inflation/Deflation System

• Developed a system consisting of air compressor, solenoid valve, ECU and TPMS, which sense the pressure of the tire and compare with the desired pressure entered in the ECU and Inflate or Deflate the air to/from tire to maintain the desired pressure of the tire.

• Increased the tire life span by 50% considering Indian Road Conditions with maintaining desired pressure.
