Project at Bosch - On Air blowing fixture manufacturing and design. Description:

Nozzles manufactured by Bosch were having blockages like burrs and chips remains while manufacturing, air blowing is a nozzle cleaning method wherein compressed air is blown through it for 10 sec to clean the nozzles. Existing system was time consuming and not efficient enough as a worker had to blow every nozzle individually which caused human fatigue and as he may slack on time our goal was to design an automated system that blows a set of 50 nozzles at a time with the required process followed and for set time. So we designed a pneumatic system and a fixture which fulfilled this role. Project Duration:

September 2016 to March 2017
