Project Handled:

Aim of project : Design and analysis of vehicle rim using CATIA and ANSYS software.

Description :The design is the initial step to manufacture any engineering components. so in our project we designed four wheeler vehicle rim using CATIAV5.and then it was imported to ANSYS for analyses the different forces acts on rim. on the basis of different forces we selected different materials like alloy steel, aluminum, forged steel which is suitable . and in this project we studied how forces acts on the wheel rim and which material is strong to resist that force . And we come to know after analysis by ANSYS forged steel is suitable to resist maximum force and light in weight and having longer life, less in price.
