ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Kent state University
Title: CFD analysis on heavy duty trucks for drag reduction and reliability Aug2016 to Dec 2016
Accomplishments:
This project verifies the possibilities of improving the aerodynamics around a truck to reduce the fuel consumption.
the fuel efficiency simulation analysis is done by using ANSYS 14 CFD software, 2D analysis is done.3D modelling is done in Pro/Engineer.
The reliability and process of drag reduction is calculated.
Title: Analysis of an Air wing using Ansys Jan 2017 to May 2017
Accomplishments:
Modal Analysis of an air wing using Ansys workbench used to determine the dynamic characteristics of a system.
Optimize the failures of the airwing by using CFD analysis.
The results are compared to the theoretical frequency compared to numerical frequency.
