Systems and Data Architect
• Analysis, design and implementation of a Modbus emulator to broadcast a representation of the EOS Battery Management System Modbus message. Generates SunSpec 1 (Generic table) and 802 (Battery Base Model) as well as EOS proprietary Modbus map messages. Developed in C++ 11 for embedded Cortex v7 ARM processor.
• Analysis, design and currently implementing the EOS Battery Management System. Measure and record different sensor readings from a number of battery strings (banks) to make functional decisions. Use of Modbus to communicate with a control system (EMS or Inverter) to regulate the charge/discharge process. Developed in C++ 11 and C99 for embedded Cortex v7 ARM processor (in progress)
• Design of a QA and production database system to track battery production process and battery efficiency. Design of the battery data acquisition and telemetry process to identify QA and production values with statistical significance. Design a relational database system to store and analyze the information. Under development using MySQL, Python, C++ and Linux Cron (in progress).
