Seeking for a position of an Operating engineer/ Boiler operator in a challenging and stimulating company/facility that will utilize my previous experiences and also expose me to new ideas and technology as to enable my growth and becoming a long term valued asset to the company.

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate, maintain, monitor building automation system and make all required adjustments to insure the safe and efficient operation all heating and air condition equipment’s.

Install, repair and perform maintenance works on heating and air conditioning equipment’s such as Compressors, pumps, motors, valves, switches, draft fans, burners, chillers, air handlers, dryers, deaerator/feed water pump, condensate return tank, water treatment/softeners/ etc.

Perform all work in accordance with state, and federal laws, follow safety guidelines for equipment usage and operational procedures, such as lock-out/tag-out, and handling of hazardous material.

Monitor boiler feed water to ensure proper water conditions to prevent mineral deposits and corrosion in the boiler and perform boiler bottom blowdowns when necessary.

Communicate with the next shift operator about the completed work, pending work, load changes, equipment parts changes. And maintain a log book in which various aspects of boiler operation are recorded.

Takes down boilers and cleans fire and water sides for annual state inspections and perform hydrostatic test after inspection.

Insure safe and efficient boiler operation by making the appropriate adjustments to meet the demands for steam, chiller and water temperature.

Responsibilities:

Operate Maintain and monitor heating and air-conditioning equipment’s, which includes compressors, condenser, switches, valves, gauges, burners, fittings, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions, and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

Performs inspections, installations, preventive maintenance, modifications and replacement of burners, pumps, piping, feeders, valves and other related equipment to maintain proper steam and water temperature.

Takes down boilers and cleans fire and water sides for annual state inspections and perform hydrostatic test after inspection.

Communicate with the next shift operator about the completed work, pending work, load changes, equipment parts changes. And maintain a log book in which various aspects of boiler operation are recorded.

Cleans and maintains boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure reliable heat source to buildings facility and reports unsafe conditions, equipment damage urgent repair needed to supervisors.

Monitor boiler feed water to ensure proper water conditions to prevent mineral deposits and corrosion in the boiler and perform boiler blowdowns when necessary.
