The scope of the project involved implementing Hadoop clusters for monitoring the access and Webserver log. This was the first project to implement Hadoop distribution across the firm. The access logs and click through were loaded in to HDFS and MR jobs are ran to generate the statistics reports on daily and weekly basis. This helped in considerable reduction in the duration taken on analytical report generation. This helped to analyze more than 1TB of access logs and webserver logs for Pulse report processing.

Installed and configured Hadoop on more than 10 nodes.

Experienced in running Hadoop streaming jobs to process terabytes of webserver logs.

Involved in loading data from UNIX file system to HDFS.

Monitoring hadoop clusters and sending email using monitoring scripts.

Installed and configured Pig and also written Pig UDFs.

Involved in creating Pigscripts which will run internally in map reduce framework.

Sqoop was used to import data into HDFS from RDBMS.

Automated all the jobs,to pull data from RDBMS server to load data into HDFS

Fetching data from tables using Hive and Pig.
