Negotiated and managed all supply chain activities for domestic and international suppliers for the production of high precision, small machine components used in electronic testing equipment. Coordinated all engineering proto-type, and production of engineering samples for new product introductions. Researched and evaluated supplier base realizing 20% improvement of on time deliveries. Establish JIT, Kanban & Lean Manufacturing practices.
Senior Buyer/Planner, Paxton Automotive Corp., Camarillo Ca 1996-1998: Initiated and reformed company use of the Materials Requirement Planning system to realize a 50% time savings and reduced WIP inventory. Reduced annual inventory by $250,000. Researched and contracted new suppliers for production of machined parts, castings, fabricated assemblies, and printed circuit boards for a significant annual cost savings.
