Background and work-history:

Graduated from Central High school of Memphis in 1976. Shortly there-after, I began working for a local plumbing repair company. After becoming a licensed journeyman plumber, I then got my master plumbing license under the Shelby County Code Enforcement.

I worked in new-home construction installing the plumbing from the ground up, everything from gas pipe, to copper and plastic pipe for water, sewer and gas lines. Also bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including gas & electric water heaters.

In 1996 I opened, Mark C. Word Plumbing Co. My focus was on residential renovation/remodel & repair. I continued working for myself until 2004. That’s when I got my TN. Real estate license. I’ve been in real estate about twelve years. I was in residential plumbing and new-home-construction for about twenty-five years. All together I been in the housing industry for over 35 years.

Applicable:

Very good with computers and have good typing skills. Experienced with Office-Word, Excell, Yardi and Propertyware. Well versed in sales and purchase contracts. Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone. Enjoy working in a professional business environment.
