Rehabilitation of Qurayyah Power Plant Open Discharge Canal (SEC-ERB formerly SCECO)

The scope of work include the construction of 2.4km new canal wall adjacent to the existing wall, Equipment / Material procurement, Concrete repair of the Seal Weir Pits and Outfall structure, Installation of Cathodic Protection System and the subsequent commissioning.

Improvement of Sea Water Inlet & Other facilities at Qurayyah Power Plant, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC-ERB).

This project is divided into four (4) portions namely :

Portion I : Installation of 25/5 tons Semi Gantry Crane. The scope of work include Design and Construction of the Crane columns and foundations, material / equipment procurement and commissioning of 25/5 tons Semi Gantry Crane. The said Gantry Crane has a span of 36lm and a height of 16m.

Portion 2 : Installation of Twenty (20) units Continues Chain Rake Bar Screen. This project portion is the jelly control component of the whole power plant for both Phase 1 and 2. The scope of work include the Design, Procurement and Installation of the Continuous Chain Rake Bar Screen (CCRBS) and all conveyance facilities such as Flushing System, Stainless Trough, Concrete Channel, Disposal Pond and Commissioning.

Portion 3 : Concrete repair and installation of the Cathodic Protection System of the entire Seawater Intake Structure of the Power Plant. The scope of work includes Design, Installation, Equipment procurement, CP installation and Commissioning.

Portion 4 : Installation of the Cathodic Protection System of Four (4) 50m diameter Diesel Fuel Tanks. The scope of work include Design, Material / Equipment procurement, CP installation and commissioning.

Comprehensive Facility Improvement Phase I & II @ Hafar Al-Batin Complex, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC-ERB).

The scope of work includes the construction of steel raw water tank with a capacity of 650cu.m. Renovation of 2160 sq.m. Service Center Complex that involves the installation of fire protection and fire alarm system, lighting and power supply, communication system, HVAC system, plumbing system and all other civil work items. The subsequent site development such as irrigation and landscaping, installation of 4” dia. to 8” dia. fire water pipeline, installation of carbon and UV filter system, installation of fire water pumps, and the booster system for potable and irrigation water system and the asphalt paving of the whole complex covering an area of 30,000sqm.

The scope of work includes the cement lining of 3000lm of 42”steel pipes & Installation of CIPP liner for 550lm pipes crossing the sea. Includes installation of cofferdams to rehab & install CIPP liner for pipes under the sea.
