Performed as a Head of the Welding section as well as Senior welding supervisor cum cswip 3.1 Qc inspector of the Marine companies(Shipyard) in Singapore. ( Group of Candid Marine Engineering pte Ltd 15 years (Qatar in N’KOM One year GDI Project), and other 5 years in Rarefield Engineer’s pte Ltd (Hull, Piping), Scanwin Engineering pte Ltd (Hull) in Singapore.

Confirm the job with yard Supervisor, Engineers & QA/QC and receive the drawing, weld map, ITP, ‘WPS’ and follow up the process and procedures as per project requirement.

Well knowledge and interpret of Structural Code, Drawing, Fabrication, MTO, Weld Map, WPS, WPQR, Fit up Inspection, Final Visual Inspection, NDT Requirements as per Project ITP. And knowledge of piping, P&ID drawing, Line walk, test pack and all.

Attend the VSCC Meeting, Production And Quality meeting with project team,QA, QC, Client to achieve the project target and Quality and Safety requirement. And also follow up the (HSE) Safety requirements and Supervise the workers as well as environment of the work place on site

to carry out the job safely.

Make the Schedule and control the manpower to achieve within the target man hours and complete the project timely as per yard and client schedule.

Arrange WQT for welders and tack welders if yard or client requirement to qualify

For the specific projects as per WPS.

Arrange the consumables accordingly as per ‘WPS’, And also Monitoring welders & fitters (tack welders) during fitting and welding use correctly as per project requirement and Follow up quality audit with Yard QA/QC to maintain the quality as per 'WPS' requirements.

Liaise with Yard Production Engineers, QA/QC and CLIENT and resolve any drawing issues for fitting, welding as per Drawing and weld map due to on sit issue like fullpen, partialpen, fillet weld and etc.

Assign the daily work task for the Foreman, job leaders,welders and continue monitoring all the on going jobs on boards vessel as well as workshop. And carry out especially heavy structure job with all grade

( AH, DH, EH, Z, F, CASTING, API 5L ) Materials & UT, RT job, Repair of welding and control distortion, Pressure test, Hydrostatic test and all.

Monitored in-process welding parameters such as ampere, voltage, travel speed, heat input, weaving, preheat & inter-pass temperature requirements, Electrodes baking and quiver temperature maintenance and all.

Check the materials ( Steel Plate, Pipe API 5L grade) and fit up Root gap, bevel preparation, Alignment accordance with Yard approved drawing during fitting to maintain the fit up standard as per project specification, as well as welding visual inspection as per “WPS” requirement and prepare “RFI” submit to the Yard QA/QC for inspection. Also keep maintain all the inspection records for “ISO” audit Client audit, welder pass update and Etc.

Carry out the final inspection with QA/QC, CLIENT AND CLASS SURVEYOR to make sure

satisfied the job and follow up the NDT requirements as per Project (ITP)Inspection Test Plan.
