Toyota Tsusho of America, Georgetown, KY

Provided support to the user base for JDE Edwards World Financial, Distribution and Manufacturing applications during E1 migration project. Duties included timely application assistance, technical analysis and analytics support for this Georgetown manufacturer of auto components.

AMN Healthcare, Dallas, TX

Project Manager assigned task to develop and deliver comprehensive payroll solution to this national medical care provider. The project required a useful extension to the current JD Edwards payroll functionality until final transition could be made to new PeopleSoft environment. Result saved client time and expense of costly upgrade while maintaining the integrity and reliability of current payroll processes.

Inovis, Inc., Alpharetta, GA September 2005 - May 2013

Implemented a high availability, data replication solution for mission critical ERP applications on an AS/400.

Installed IBM’s Data Mirror tool, journaled the company’s production database to provide for a real time replication and fail over system to support the company’s disaster recovery directive.

Adapted current release of Vertex tax software package to function with legacy JDE A7.3 ERP system ensuring tax compliance.

This change modified the existing legacy JDE platform to function with the latest release of Vertex tax software. This included extensive modifications to the existing tax integration server application as well as identifying and enhancing numerous key tax related applications/functions in JD Edwards.

Implemented several new treasury applications to assist the company with its banking and treasury needs in both the US and UK.

This project created several new bolt-on modules to assist the treasury department with the transmission of vendor payments, positive pay information using the Inovis VAN and direct vendor payment notifications via email. Additional enhancements included an automated check and cash application process linked to a new custom lockbox interface for US customer payments. For our UK financial team, a new FX wire interface was developed and the installation of the Inovis TLi EDI product (to process lockbox EDI 820 payment documents), helped to improve productivity.

Project manager and lead developer for a new Managed Services billing module used by the accounting and billing teams.

Designed, developed and successfully implemented a new billing system to help streamline the MS billing effort by automating the collection of billing data, reducing the steps and manual processes required to bill a customer. Created a custom integration to assemble and collate the billing data. This successful project improved end user productivity and reduced billing errors.

Provided technical, functional and training support during the acquisition, merger and integration of QRS with Inovis.

Designed and developed real time customer and item file integrations, billing integrations and data conversion programs for the migration of QRS data to the Inovis JD Edwards’ database. Created and implemented custom enhancements and adaptations for use by Inovis staff for use with new catalog, web forms and network products.

VIACOM, N.Y., N.Y.

Provided technical support to this JD Edwards’ media distributor.

Created and implemented custom inventory storage and tracking enhancements package for media based inventory. In general, the new enhancement tracked media sets as they were delivered to various customers. A variety of tracking items (labels, barcodes etc…) were attached to the media in an effort to efficiently track, ship and receive media sets.

LAROCHE INDUSTRIES, Atlanta, GA

Provided technical support during the software implementation phase to this JD Edwards’ chemical manufacturer.

Primary responsibilities included assisting new users with application tools and developing custom solutions to support the transportation department, including a new interface to assist with the transportation, staging, loading and tracking of Laroche railcars, communicating relevant information using FTP protocols over TCP/IP network to and from railroad central computers.

MURATA ELECTRONICS, Marietta, GA

Provided technical and functional support to this JD Edwards’ electronics distributor.

Created, designed and developed a variety of custom modules to assist with the tracking, reporting and handling of inventories using the JD Edwards’ inventory and advanced warehouse modules. Completed several upgrades of the JD Edward’s software package with minimal impact or downtime of operations.

ATLANTA COMMITTEE FOR THE OLYMPI C GAMES, Atlanta, GA

Supported the committee with JD Edwards’ technical expertise prior to the opening ceremonies.

Primary responsibilities included the design and enhancement of the procurement system, including custom software development to assist with the identification of and approval for high value items. Also instrumental in the development of barcode and tracking mechanisms to enable the identification of all donated property to the Games.

R.J. REYNOLDS, Winston Salem, N.C.

Provided technical and functional support to this JD Edwards’ manufacturer and distributor of tobacco products.

Primary responsibilities included the design, development and implementation of a bill of material pre-processing system. The system was written to interact with the user guiding them through the selection of cigarette ingredients. The end result being a completed bill of materials defined and ready for use in JD Edwards. The system also provided a set of reporting tools to help reduce and/or eliminate order duplication across multiple warehouses.
