Experience

Southside Community Center January 2016-May 2016

Composed informational and promotional literature for the public and various media outlets.

Conducted interviews of various volunteers in order to solicit donations.

Responsible for development and execution of all social media and advertising campaigns for services offered to the center.

Organized and executed fundraising efforts to supplement the different programs offered by the center.

Distributed media and informational materials to newspapers, non-profit organizations, and media outlets.

Army Specialist July 2007-June 2012

Deployed as a Supply Specialist and Army Campaign Armory Specialist in the area of the Middle East.

Served as a Petroleum Supply Specialist responsible for issuing, receiving, storing and transporting of JP-4 and JP-8 fuel.

Responsible for and performed the recirculation of and testing of JP-4 and JP-8 fuel.

Utilized an Aqua Glo machine to test fuels.

Refueled and serviced the following aviation aircraft: UH-60 (Blackhawk), CH-47 (Chinook), OH-58 (Kiowa), and F-16 (Fighting Falcon).

Responsible for the distribution, maintenance, and inventory of aviation equipment, weapons, and supplies.

Completed DA Form 3643 to maintain accountability.

Team leader responsible for the supervision of a squadron of supply specialists.

Responsible for the operation, storage, dispensing, and distribution facilities and pipeline systems for aviation, petroleum, oils, and

lubricants related to aviation.

Facility and equipment oversight and operator for all logistics operations to include driving of HEMTT fuel trucks over 20,000 lbs, forklift trucks, conveyors, and cranes in loading, unloading, moving, and storing petroleum supplies; marked petroleum containers for proper identification; conducted safety inspections of storage facilities; performed basic preventive maintenance and handled equipment relating to aviation.
