PROFILE:

Fourteen years’ experience in quality and inventory control. Specialized experience of 5 years with the Medical Maintenance Readiness Program (MMRP) within the United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) and 7 years with Caterpillar Logistics as a Quality Control Consult.

Inventory Management:

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and plan for medical materiel storage through liaison and inquiry with site inventory managers.

Earned Caterpillar Production System green belt certification. CPS uses 6 Sigma and 6 Sigma Lean to recommend improved performance and to push safety, quality and velocity by means of supply and demand studies. Team member of two Rapid Improvement Workshops that created, proved, and maintained processes and improvements to make our Inbound department number one in our network and Outbound department in the top five depots.

Materiel Coordination:

Continuously establish, audit and manage the inventories for the medical materiel of four Combat Support Hospitals maintaining the effective support necessary for deployment.

Worked with various inventory software including the Theater Enterprise Wide Logistics System (TEWLS-a SAP inventory software) for the control of materiel requisition. The posting of order receipts or the validation of any backorders that occur. Use E-DOCS with the Defense Logistics Agency partnered with our document registry to manage the completion of materiel movement, positioning, and distribution including Class VIII supplies among agencies.

Inventory Control:

Over four years’ experience with Eagle Systems under the Medical Materiel Readiness Program (MMRP) at the Sierra Army Depot USAMMA site requiring regular monthly materiel maintenance reporting.

Acted as a team lead of four hospital upgrades during 2012 coordinating medical materiel assembly requirements and the disposition and report of excess inventory.

Created inventory tracking in Excel programs to improve reporting and metrics. Maintained status records to reflect changes for due-in stock, upgrade adjustments, or stock-in-movement among sites.

Performed inventory adjustments, product moves, and condition code verification to reflect a stock reconciliation of 100 per cent of inventory.

Contracted to the Apple Data Center in Reno, Nevada. Process the receipt, tracking and storage of inventory into the facility and its distribution to installation and repair teams. Contracted to the Defense Logistics Agency to create a team based processing system for the identification, disposal classification and correct shipping of theater returned materiel at the Sierra Army Depot using Department of Defense material disposition guidelines.

Visually inspected items received to determine and verify positive identification and classification. Prepared and stamped materiel identification and condition tags, and executed receiving documents by signature and final inspection stamps.

Performed re-identification and reclassification as necessary. Confirmed condition code and identification when serviceability was questionable or in instances where items may have been reclassified or re-identified by others.

Completed official receiving documents, assuring valid assignment of shelf-life expiration dates, identification data, and condition codes.

Visually inspected samples to verify proper identification, classification, packaging and packing, as well as accuracy of accompanying documentation.

Eagle Systems and Services Field Support Specialist

Created an automatic parts labeling system for the warehouse inventory which brought us into timely compliance with ISO 9001:2008 by reducing manual label making time by 90%.

Improved an in-house Excel inventory database to reflect accountability, maintenance status and work metrics of four Combat Support Hospitals on a real time, on demand basis.
