Overseas all business office functions and is responsible for ensuring policy and procedures compliances in all related areas.

Interfaces with the Administrator, Quality assurance Manager, Region Medicaid Specialist, Central Billing Office, A/R 2 Specialist, Receptionist and center department heads to provide verbal and written reports to the Administrator and Corporate.

Meets established daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines established.

Manages Accounts Receivable collections for past due resident accounts with Administrator, prepares for and attends weekly and monthly Revenue Cycle Management Review meetings and documents collection activities.

Recommends and/or prepares accounts for outside collection agencies, attorneys, and write off as applicable.

Supervises, organizes, evaluates, and monitors business office operations and staff, including A/R 2 Specialist, Bookkeeper, and receptionist, as well as delegates’ administrative authority, responsibility and accountability to other office personnel as necessary.

Supervised daytime Receptionist, night time Receptionist, Medicaid Specialist, and all temporary staff assigned to Business Office.

Responsible for interviewing and hiring replacement Business Office staff.
