Sabine River Works for Dupont (KBR Engineering, Newark Delaware)

Piping Designer, Oct 2015 to Oct 2015

Traveled to site to walk down piping in the field for verification.

Contracted to prepare isometrics to comply with Mechanical Integrity.

Identified all equipment in order to update equipment arrangements and to meet corrosion thickness of piping and equipment Mechanical Integrity.

Although length of assignment was not long; work was completed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the client.

Gas & Oil Project for Husky Energy Lima, Ohio & Breathing Air Project for Dupont Chambers

Works Penns Grove, N.J. (KBR Engineering, Newark Delaware)

Piping Designer, December 2014 to July 2015

Working for KBR as a Technical Staffing Resource employee using PDMS software.

Prepared plot plan to replace pumps, filters and piping in Coker Area located Lima, Ohio.

Position requires ability to interpret scans from the site to install new pumps and piping.

Job was put on delay until 2017 due to oil prices too low for Husky to make a profit.

After I had only been on the job for 1 month.

After the delay on the Husky Energy project I moved on to the DuPont Black Hawk project where I worked with the lead designer updating isometrics where the design had changed after it had been issued to construction. Below were the types of changes that needed to be fixed in the model:

Isometrics that had missing information such as continuation changes, graphic changes where components were not connected properly in the 3D PDMS software.

Isometrics that did not match P&ID; wrong insulation, electric traced that was not shown properly.

Equipment that did not have all the nozzles located in the model.

P&ID changes where tie-ins were in the wrong place.

Instrumentation added to hold spacing while model components were created in the 3D model.

After approval of all the changes isometrics were sent to the lead designer for final approval before issued for fabrication and construction.

The next assignment with KBR was to install new Breathing Air System for Chambers Works site in New Jersey.

Created equipment arrangements that consisted of a plan view and sections using draft in PDMS for estimating.

Routed pipe in the PDMS model for the equipment as well as tie-ins on the pipe bridge.

Created piping isometrics for estimating.

Traveled to site to walk down pipe rack for routing of pipe from equipment building housing the Compressor, Purifiers and Receivers for 70% review.

Continued walk downs at the site to take measurement to complete the tie-ins from the Compressor building.

Navisworks was used for interference.

• Routed piping per the pipe specifications set forth on the P&I diagrams and the guidelines supplied

by the client.

Small Projects for Dupont Delisle Site, Pass Christian, MS

Piping Designer, March 2014 to October 2014

Working at the Delisle Site as a Technical Staffing Resource employee using PDMS software.

Using 2D Microstation V8i to incorporate the PDMS design before and after installation.

Position requires walk downs with R&D engineers to understand where and what needs to be installed. Retro fitting small/large pipe for site projects.

Model reviews are required to bring construction and R&D engineer together to discuss the design and make comments. After comments are incorporated the package is created to issue to engineers,

construction and area supervisors.

Package includes isometrics, P&ID and any cut sheets of equipment, control valves and other instrumentation as required. Prepare tie-in list for construction.

Used Navisworks for 3D interferences.

Piping Designer, Sept 2013 to March 2014

• Contracted my design experience using SmartPlant to route pipe. Correlation which is the process where the 3D SmartPlant model assures the SmartPlant P&ID match the model. If the model does not match an error will occur. The error will show on the P&ID and will not correct itself until the model is fixed.

• Routed piping per the pipe specifications on the P&I diagrams and the guidelines supplied by the client.

• Kiewit require using Lisega support system for piping shown in the model. The supports are shown on the isometrics so that the Pipe Stress engineers can load them into a pipe stress model for analysis. Create shop isometrics using Bluebeam for released drawings.
