DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach the juniors all aspect of emergency nursing utilizing the supplies and equipment the benefit of patients.

Give Assignment to the juniors according to the patients situation.

Supervise them and help them for the medications as per doctor’s order.

Make duty list and intent medical surgical supply,

Help the charge nurse for their need during duty hours and their absence.

Assess the patients’ health needs and problems and plan interventions

Maintain the highest possible standard of patient care using all aseptic technique.

Have used various equipment’s needed to manage emergency situations

Administration of medication as per doctor’s prescription.

Help to Maintain medical reports and records of patients

Performing tasks with organizational policies and procedures

Provide psychological support to dients and their families

E.C.G monitoring, CVP monitoring, C.P.R, assisting intubations suturing,blood transfusions.

Have used equipment like syringe pumps, infusion pumps defibrillator, pulse oxymeter, E.C.G. machine, warmer, glucometer, nebulizer, oxygen apparatus, uroflowmeter. B.P. apparatus and suction apparatus.
