Assisted youth ages 13-20 with home, school, and personal issue.

At first, I only assisted with homework and tutoring, but as the students became more comfortable with me they started confiding in me about their relationships, personal lives, and issues going on at home. I would offer advice to them and share stories, hoping to show them that they are not alone and that they somebody to talk to. I grew very close with them and will continue volunteering there when I get the chance.

Helping Hands Daycare

August 2015-January 2016

I was an assistant at a special needs daycare in Seaside, CA. The children's ages ranged from 1 year to 10 years. I helped with all essential duties including changing diapers, feeding children, preparing meals, keeping track of children's files, and reporting to the supervisor and parents.
