Education
****-**** *.*. ******ical Engineering (First Class), S.I.E.S Graduate School of Technology(Mumbai University), Nerul, Navi Mumbai. The Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s programme aims at building a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals. 2015-2018 MSc. Mechanical Engineering,
Linköping University, 58183 Linköping, Sweden.
The Mechanical Engineering master’s programme at Linköping University deals with the product-development cycle with respect to an engineering perspective right from the birth of an idea to its final product shape.
Master thesis
Title Greenhouse Gas (GHG) simulations in Munich(Germany) Supervisors Dr. Francisco Toja and Prof. Jia Chen - Technical University of Munich (TUM) Associate Professors Hossein Nadali Najafabadi and Roland Gårdhagen - Linköping University
Description The main objective of the thesis was to develop computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations of the GHG transport and diffusion in Munich, using the open source code OpenFOAM. The said objective was achieved by validating CFD simulations by comparing results with experimental measurements on a TUM building roof. Also, an opportunity of proposing mitigation actions was looked into based on the level of understanding of the GHG transport and diffusion phenomena. Experience
Vocational
Nov 2017-
Jan 2018
Course Assistant, Linköping University, Linköping. Responsible for assisting the professor-in-charge with computer lab sessions and assess- ing assignments for the course Computational Heat Transfer. The assignments include: Developing a numerical solver for 1D heat transfer analysis of buildings walls for both steady and transient state, Design analysis of chimney installation for a fire outbreak under different circumstances, Temperature distribution calculation of panel for different flowrates and temperatures of the cooling air used in Gripen aircraft, Time calculation for which a power-switch can run during different elevated temperature levels without overheating the power-converters used in Gripen aircraft, Calculation of mass flow of air needed to reduce front brake temperature of a Formula Student vehicle. 1/2
Miscellaneous
Sep 2017 -
Oct 2017
Student Job, Technical University of Munich, Munich. Worked as an operator for the Munich measurement campaign to record Greenhouse Gases
(GHG) using Brucker EM27SUN compact Fourier transform spectrometer with sun as the light source. The results from the experiments were column number densities (total column) of gases, CO2, O2 and CH4 of which the ratio of CO2 and O2 gives the column-averaged dry-air mole fraction of CO2 (XCO2) in ppm, a value of particular interest that was used from the previous measurement campaign for the Master Thesis. Engine Technologies’. Participation BAJA SAE INDIA, 2015, to design and manufacture an all-terrain vehicle. Internship In depth learning about different components of a vehicle, trouble-shooting common service problems and team-coordination amongst different departments at the HYUNDAI Sharayu Motors dealership’s Service Station, Navi Mumbai, from June 2013 – July 2013.
Internship Designing a staircase module that can be automated with the help of source code in Onshape which is a full cloud 3D CAD system that can integrate work on any web browser, phone or tablet and therefore does not need software licensing or team members to be present at the same place and at the same time thereby making it flexible to coordinate with people around the world.
