I’ve worked as a painter, waitress, pizza cook, cashier, sandwich maker, lab. asst. in a few of the top laboratories in the United States.
I learn things pretty easily and have an open mind for new challenges.
Education
For the past few years I have obtained two degrees from the University of Phoenix online programs. My Associate’s degree in Associate of Arts and my Bachelors in Environmental Science.

I earned my GED while attending Cassata Learning Center in Fort Worth Texas in 1983. Cassata is a private Catholic school and I took the GED test at TCU (Texas Christian University) also in Fort Worth.
2002-2016
During this time period I took care of all the daily needs and business affairs of my mother who was sick and in need of care and companionship every day. We were a team and gave each other structure and purpose through cooperation and friendship that benefitted both of us. My mother was able to stay in an environment that was familiar and comfortable while I was able to pursue my degree plans to gain both an associate's and bachelor's degree.

Jobs Before 1990
I have cooked pizzas to order, waited tables for in house customers, washed dishes and closed store procedures.
Painting jobs required completing assigned apartment painting to be completed in a timely fashion with care and concern over neatness and detail observation of appearance and quality of application of paint.
Over a decade of my life has been spent in medical laboratories doing jobs including batch building, results entry, specimen location, using computers to complete said tasks and customer service over the telephone.
I have worked for companies like Pizza Hut, Pizza Inn, and followed their procedures in the stores I worked in. I also understand cashier work and responsibilities associated with this business.
Contract painting was under the guidance and supervision of my mother for full time hours. I did preparation work when we entered the apartment such as laying down drop clothes, taping off electrical outlet, windows, and woodwork as well as cutting in with paint brushes around doors, windows, and floors.
Medical lab employment has varied from printing batch lists and results of testing performed to locating specimens for retesting. Later blood bank tasks included supervision of week-end shift employees and keeping inventory records and hospital orders filled as products became available.
I worked in the grocery store business in the seafood department of Albertson’s in 1985. My duties included customer service and the proper handling and storage procedures involved with seafood.
