Inspection

-: I have inspected aerospace fabricated parts, rubber and sealing components, various thermal covers for RR engines, various RR engine pipes, various RR engine Fan Case composite panels, RR turbine blades and vanes coatings, machined aerospace parts, Aerospace engine harnesses, Engine sub-assemblies, and Aerospace castings and bearing housings.

using appropriate supplier specific scope, the relevant drawings requirements, RR plc specifications, standards and requirements (DARs, Concessions, FAIRs, Production Permits and SABRe documents) to ensure best practice, continual improvement and manage risk. Core Competences: Mechanical Engineering: Aerospace Quality Inspections; Automotive servicing, assembly, repairs and maintenance of vehicles/plant.

Work Experience Outcomes-: I have succeeded in improving supplier quality productivity through identification of non-conformances and manufacturing process continuous improvements.

In order to succeed in this customer risk management intervention, there has been need to capture every detail of non-conformances, communicate in an objective manner, collect quantifiable facts about a problem, establish baseline information, facilitate the cost benefit analysis of proposed solutions, training inspectors (in some cases) and solving problems to enable the customer as well as the supplier to correctly identify the defective process and correct, before and after- quantify the impact of the solutions as well as have required trace-ability so as to effect, the DMAIC (define, measure, analyse, improve and control of processes. I participated in Quality Control systems, supply chain internal logistics and processes evaluation.

Manufacturing process: Advised on manufacturing related to design specifications, traceability and process control.

Engineering Process: Worked with Supplier Design, Manufacturing and Quality and MRB teams to define design intent, risk management, developing, qualifying and effecting/implementing controls.

Supplier Development: Enabled to establish and sustain effective partnerships between suppliers and the customer by effecting communication which resulted in developing technical capability

Product Improvement-: Liaised with Supplier Quality and Production teams to modify and improve overall product performance. I assisted the co-ordination, elimination and management of product defects through recommendation of the relevance of customer requirements, standards and specifications.

Statistical Analysis-: Performed data collection, data verification and some statistical analysis that resulted in sound recommendations that were adopted by supplier departments.

Quality Control-: Saved big percentages on supply costs by working closely with suppliers to ensure components met customer quality standards.

Testing, Evaluation and Analysis-: Tested equipment to ensure compliance. Analysed data and provided recommendations which resulted in adoption of new cost-saving equipment.

Presentations: -: Created presentation materials for quality inspections, customer relations and management purposes.

Project Management-: Supervised/worked along in project production efforts to ensure projects were completed to customer standards, on time and within budget constraints.

Research and Development-: Facilitated written and voice communications, after raising non-conformance reports, with customer R&D department, resulting in concessions, production permits or Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs) generated for suppliers and on the market.

Customer Interface-: Met with customer Project COP Leads and helped with continuous improvements deliberations with supplier representatives in each project assignment I have been involved

Project Coordination-: Provided drafting and project set-up support to the communications staff, creating initial to final presentation reports for individual assignment projects.
