Summary: I have years of estimating experiences in Airport, Commercial, K-12, Higher education, Religious, Multifamily/Single-family projects and paving, working with GCs, Program/Project Managers and Steel Fabricators. I have field experience supervising concrete and asphalt paving projects for road works, airport runways/aprons and parking lots. I have good knowledge of NBC and IBC codes. I have performed conceptual, budgetary, hard bids, design development estimates and change orders and participated in pre-construction meetings, involving various types of contracts (GMP, Cost Plus, Lump Sum, etc.). Managed Staffing/Davaco Inc.

Estimator: (contract-2017)

In May 2017, I signed up with Managed Staffing Corporation of Addisson, Texas for on and off temporary contract with Davaco Inc. My duties included but not limited to estimating and validating budgetary estimates for the Nationwide renovations of McDonald restaurants and other chain restaurants by Davaco Constructions Inc. Currently looking for other opportunities in construction.

Haas Estimating & Consultants:

Estimator (May -Sept 2016)

I was employed full time with Haas Estimating and Consultants, but currently on contract due to lower work load. I prepared all types of estimates for GCs, Subcontractors, Architects, Engineers and Owners, who needed Haas services.

Estimates that I have prepared while with Haas Consulting are mostly commercial estimates including but not limited to site development, structural steel and concrete constructions, and asphalt paving etc. We provided lumber estimates for multifamily GCs and Subcontractors in different States, especially in Texas, New Jersey, New York, North and South Carolinas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Arizona, and New Mexico. My lumber estimates enabled Contractors to purchase the quantity of lumber required for each project thereby minimizing waste and for budgetary proposals. Hass Estimating Consultants, participated in the North America Toyota Complex in Plano, Texas with 3i Construction company. Haas Estimating was involved in pre-construction estimates for the “Testing building” (CDE) and the concrete paved driving tracks.

PSA Constructors Inc./DFW-Airport

Estimator:(TRIP)-$2.7B Project- Jan 2010-Dec. 2015

As an Estimator with PSA Constructors Inc., I was assigned to DFW-Airport as a Consultant under Freese &Nichols for the TRIP project. My responsibilities included preparing various Independent estimates such as Conceptual, Negotiated, Hard bids and Change orders estimates. I was involved in pre-construction meetings and conflict resolution meetings. My estimates took into account the scope of work (SOW), material, equipment, labor, scheduling and site conditions. References were made to the contracts documents and design specifications in preparing my estimates.

Soft-wares used were My accomplishment, was being able to save thousands of dollars for the Airport through due diligent estimation applying industry standards. Relationships were established with Subcontractors, Vendors and CMs involved in the TRIP projects.

Skills: Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point and Takeoff soft-wares. (OST by On Center), Blue Beam Revue, Plan-swift, Success Estimator, National Cost Estimator, RsMeans, Stack and Skire etc.

Estimator: Oct. 2007-Nov. 2009

In Faithful & Gould, my duties included preparing bid, budget and design estimates for company Project Managers and Clients’ design groups. Estimates were established before request for bid proposals were published. control. My team collected drawings from plan-rooms, and from Architects involved in the project designs. Some of the projects were at Love Field Airport and DFW Airport TRIP renovations.

NUCONSTEEL:(Div. of NUCOR Corp)

Estimator: April 2002-Sept. 2007

My responsibilities included requesting blue prints from Clients and preparing estimates for roof trusses, wall panels and floor joists. I was responsible for structural steel and metal decks estimation for institutional, residential and commercial buildings. My activities included but not limited to soliciting subcontractors, material vendors and work as a team with the shop designers.

Prepared estimates for doors, hard-wares, windows, bathrooms and kitchen fixtures. I did takeoffs for wall and ceiling moldings, wainscots and bathrooms wall tiles. Majority of my takeoffs and estimates were for Schools, Retirement/Nursing homes, Hotels/Motels and university residences.
