SGQL: Through my intervention heavy investments were made in improving the facilities and the courses resulting in the number of rounds of golf played rise by 10%, revenue increase by 50% and profitability growing by 65%. Market share was around 12%.

SGQL rose to first place in the ranking of Golf Courses in the Algarve in terms of Rounds of Golf and in 2004 DN EMPRESAS placed SGQL SA in 847th place in its list of the best 1500 small and medium-sized companies.

Figueira da Foz: 18-hole golf course, hotel and 144 villas.

Girona/Spain: 36-hole golf course, hotel, 250 villas and 150 houses. In addition, I was a member of the Board of Directors of PGA Golf da Catalunya in Girona, Spain. This involved monthly inspections and reporting directly to the Board of Directors. I also attend the Annual General Meeting regularly.

As general manager of the club, I was accountable for the management of investment accounts of upper class and high upper class clients consisting of villas and apartments. I was responsible for the management, administration, maintenance and rentals of 150 private villas, Lakeside Village with 50 apartments and 95 villas and San Lorenzo with 95 apartments. I put together an extraordinary portfolio of important clients in the area of holiday apartment and villa rentals at Quinta do Lago making this one of the season's most symbolic undertakings.
