In August 2010 Western Refining closed the Flagstaff Distribution Facility. I was forced to find employment elsewhere. I contacted Pro Petroleum in Las Vegas, NV and was hired as a Technician/ Operator September,30 2010. Pro Petroleum had just completed the construction of the 325,000-barrel Capacity Fuel Distribution Facility. It has a Pipeline connection connected to the Kinder Morgan Energy Fuel Pipeline System.
Job Description Include:
Operate facility in compliance with OSHA, NDEQ Air Quality Permits, DOT standards and Conditional Use Permits.
Record keeping of all permits and updating the different permits.
Maintain loading rack equipment for safe operation.
Rebuild Product meters, flow control valves, additive meters, and various equipment.
Schedule all necessary annual inspection. Fire Suppression System, VRU Emissions Source Testing, and Meter Calibration
Submit VAR reporting monthly. (Volumetric Additive Reconciliation)

In August 1996 I started in Phoenix Arizona as a fuel transport driver. April 1999 I transferred within the company to Flagstaff as a transport driver. In November 1999 I was promoted to Terminal Operator then to Senior Terminal and in 2006 I was promoted to Terminal Supervisor.
