Engineering Technician (09/2015 – Present)

Provide assistance and technical support to engineering team for manufacturing surgical instruments and implants. Used lean manufacturing principles in compliance with ISO 13485 policy and procedures to meet/exceed company goals and maintain company ISO 9001 Registration. Duties and functions include:

• FMEA creation and interpretation to asses risk.

• Control Plan creation and interpretation to determine preventative measures to reduce risk.

• Utilize Minitab software for creating Pareto Charts for quality control of product.

• Validations (IQ, OQ, and PQ) of CNC milling machines and various processes.

• Designing 3D models, prints, and determine appropriate materials for fixtures to be used in manufacturing processes.

• Create 3D models of product from customer prints.

• Reverse engineering of manufacturing fixtures to create 3D models and prints for company records.

• Taken sole responsibility of interpreting MSDS forms to properly catalog information of chemicals in manufacturing facility.

• Perform inspection of product quality using calipers, micrometers, comparators, visual inspection, and various gauges.
