Analyzed production requirements as they compared to production capacities based on the company's monthly forecast, and made recommendations on necessary capacity increases/decreases, or requested additional contracted production to ensure on-time delivery.
Responsible for the development and implementation of approximately 25% of the company's monthly sewing budget.
Monitored weekly production, and worked with the appropriate plant or corporate personnel to resolve issues in areas such as production shortfalls/overages, cutting and kitting for off-shore facilities, as well as cloth, cut goods, packaging and label supplies to ensure desired production and inventory levels remain on schedule.
Worked with senior management in order to develop strategies to bring new products to market as quickly as possible, and to resolve production and customer service issues.
Developed and maintained a rapport with plant management personnel at 13 manufacturing facilities, 7 cut/ kit facilities and 2 distribution centers.
