Boeing Aerospace – Largest Global Aircraft Maker March 2016 to December 2016
As part of Boeing’s first SAP deployment, worked jointly with the lead EHS manager of the Boeing EHS team, to migrate legacy EHS functionality to the SAP EHS/EHSM system.
SAP EHSM based Incident Management and specific elements of Occupational Health were implemented to replace non-SAP legacy applications that covered this functionality.
Prior to starting the SAP EHSM implementation, several critical ‘EHS relevant fields’, including DG fields, were set in the Material Master to enable testing by other project streams as ‘test data’.
Followed the SAP ASAP methodology to design and implement SAP EHS functionality, specifically the design of EHS property trees, after an exhausting process of defining and organizing characteristics under Class/Value Assignment Types.
Provided on-going SAP EHS training to the Boeing EHS team lead and his team of 16 EHS team members.
Working jointly with the EHS team, completed the SAP EHS/M blueprint, detailed design, implementation and go-live documentation.
Test scripts were specifically created for use with the HPQC test tool. Exhaustive testing was completed using the HPQC tool, prior to go-live

Lubrizol Chemicals – One of largest Specialty Chemicals Company January 2015 to July 2015
As the Lead Consultant, engaged to initiate Oracle data conversion to SAP PLM, as part of new acquisition of Houston based Weatherford (WFT) Corporation.
Data migration from non-SAP WFT system to the Lubrizol SAP system turned out to be a major and challenging multi-month effort.
SAP master data is an integral part of the process and highly dependent on customization. Getting the right data loaded with values required for the business process turned out to be the biggest and the most time-consuming challenge.
Data conversion process had to be defined at the same time as the functional process, requiring teaming with SAP functional consultants.

Innovative Nutritional Supplements Maker/Distributor (Contract Distributor)
As the Lead Consultant, helped develop a system of single-level BOMS for the production of Nutritional Supplements
As part of the regulated industries, highly controlled environment and processes.
Although single level BOMS, their sizes varied from a small of number of raw ingredients to very large BOMS.
In-house production facility and warehousing for distribution to the retail market through out-sourced distributors
Complex packaging requirements for distribution from retail outlets to large wholesalers. requiring detailed instructional labeling
SAP EHS Consultant
DuPont July 2013 to June 2014
Hired by IBM to lead a team of 8 consultants to implement the Global Label Management System (GLMS).
Led the team that completed the Blueprint stage of the design, then the Realization Phase of the project from start to finish. Managed all the financial aspects of the project.
The completion of the Realization phase enabled DuPont to globally print both packaging and transportation labels, including Dangerous Goods (DG) and Hazardous substance labels.
The solution, which required interfacing to IBM WebSphere Message Broker and DB2 system covered the basic label generation and printing requirements globally.
The project was completed on schedule and under budget
SAP EHS Consultant
JBS January 2012 to April 2013
JBS (Pilgrims Pride in the US), second largest producer of chickens in the US. Specializes in providing marinated and breaded chicken products to the fast food industry in the US and globally. Also provider of ‘case-ready’ products to supermarkets:
This project was a complete food industry project that entailed a supply-chain for the fast-food industry that includes actual ‘growing of chickens’ based on demand.
The SAP EHS specifications, from raw ingredients to finished goods specifications, including packaging specifications, were part of the overall design that utilized the web-enabled RD system.
The formulations for chicken products implemented using Recipe Development as part of the R&D organization.
Developed programs for ‘auto-generation’ of raw materials to semi-finished and finished goods specifications to SAP system, based on mapping of information in MS Excel sheets in a specific format.
The productivity gains were extensive as a large number of specifications were uploaded to SAP PLM in a matter of minutes.
On this project, over 5000 specifications were programmatically loaded, prior to go-live.
Additionally, leveraged add-on programs that enabled changes to existing loaded specifications.
This project included implementation of complex food industry requirements such as standard, nutrition, allergens, and calories from fat compositions.
Developed a highly complex label for displaying the nutritional information on food packages, based on Adobe Forms and Java Scripts.
Developed complex production reports, using Word for Windows (WWI) reports, combined from PLM Recipes and Specifications.
All the objects utilized using SAP Change Record. Objects under ECM are Recipes, Specifications, Documents and BOMs.
SAP EHS Lead Consultant
Kennametal June 2011 to November 2012
A global leader in manufacturing and distribution of ‘cutting’ products for metal cutting, road and infrastructure and mining industries. Cutting Inserts and Tips are made of Carbide, Ceramic and Steel. SAP centric R&D project to replace ‘legacy’, non-SAP R&D system:
Led a team of EHS and Recipe Development (RD) consultants who worked with Kennametal subject matter specialists to implement a SAP centric R&D system for experimentation of ‘cutting products’ made from Carbide, Ceramic and Steel.
The project was completed on-time/ under budget and the client is using it extensively for their experimentation process.
With the system in place, utilizing the SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM) system, the client now has full history of experiments conducted, enabling leverage of past experiments as starting points for new experiments.
Conducted parallel prototyping of the Blueprint concepts on the system to demonstrate working functionality.
This parallel prototyping approach during Blueprint enabled company to achieve rapid implementation during the Realization phase.
Developed a unique ‘linked’ system of specifications and Recipes to create an R&D experimentation system using SAP Engineering Change Number, Status Network (of Specifications and Recipes) and Workflows.
By using an innovative, iterative approach using ‘instances’ of specifications for experiments, the design avoids unnecessary proliferations of EHS specifications and materials in the system. .
This approach enables the client to maintain a complete history of all iterations of experiments conducted, with full search and query facilities and related reports.

Rebuilt the basic ‘building block’ specifications and configurations as the required pre-requisites for Recipe Management.
These included EHS specifications sub-system using the SAP Recipe Management Work Bench (RMWB), to develop listed substances, raw material substances and semi-finished substances.
Linkages to material master were established as part of creating Recipe dependent formulas for the Recipes.
Both General and Site Recipes were created and maintained in a hierarchy.
Created a RM system that required extensive use of the food-related compositions for Nutrients, Calories, total fats, calories from fat, saturated fats, trans fats, mono-saturated fats, Omega, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, dietary fibers, sugars and proteins.
