In Detail:
Modeling on a portfolio basis or account basis includes all or some of the following based on the client requirements:
1. Prepare data for auditing
Activities: Import data into MS Access, Excel or SQL Query Analyzer for auditing checks.
2. Data auditing
Activities: Undertake checks on following data elements;
oData Structure, Values, Coinsurance, Limits, Deductibles, Attachments
oOccupancy & Construction, Locations & Geocodes, Reinsurance
Record results in audit report and prepare exhibits
Implement changes to data following client’s response to audit report
3. Prepare model input files & import data into models
4. Set up and run RMS, EQECAT or AIR and other proprietary catastrophe models/Tools
5. Preparation of input to catastrophe modeling reports
