TEVA/CEPHALON, a global pharmaceutical company SLC, UT. (Teva acquired Cephalon)

IT On-Site Support Specialist I/Client Services Analyst III

Completed domain migration of over 400 Actavis users and computers to the Teva domain. Cephalon to Teva migration of over 350 users, and 400 plus computers.

Implemented solution for controlled document printing environment for the QA group. Configured printers and desktop PC’s to manage batch record printing requiring controlled paper and numerical sequences for auditing, and FDA/DEA compliance.

Updated critical QA, manufacturing, packaging, QC, security and administrative computers to Windows 7. Eliminated the risk of using legacy hardware and software applications used to support the business.

Implemented Global OEE systems for the Salt Lake City site for the IT Manufacturing Business Group. Configured, tested, and installed custom computers for all five packaging lines, resulting in visibility of real time progress on the packaging lines and expedited order status for customers.

Configured customized Windows 10 laptops required by the engineering group to manage the high processing needs of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, VMWare and support of the manufacturing systems at the site.

Updated hardware for over 400 desktop/laptop computers in 2015. Hardware update of 2012 included upgrading to Windows 7. Updated hardware on over 300 desktops and laptops in 2009, and 2004. Updated over 350 computers to Windows XP Pro in 2006. Hired and managed temporary employees during each project. Ensured minimal end user disruption, and early return of leased computers saved the company thousands of dollars.

Designed and implemented end user training for the IT help desk 2016. Customized training for Microsoft Office 2010, 2007, and 2003 for site business groups. Integrated third party training application into the company web based training portal. Improved, and conducted IT portion of new employee training.

Deployed Xerox print devices. Reduced the printers on HP contract by 75% reducing the cost of printing at the site.

Modernized digital phone system to a Vo/IP solution.
