SUMMARY

A mechanical designer with over 10 years of experience in cutting edge design in the Subsea oil and gas industry in research and development and manufacturing. Understanding exactly what expectations are required and exceeding them to provide a seamless development process. Utilizing the latest 2D and 3D design software to provide visual aids during design reviews, stage gates, and manufacturing drawings.

During the xHPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) development project, I took the opportunity to develop the Global Valve Technologies Department (GVT) 3D printing processes to provide customers with exact to size parts. This was a first for any such project undertaken by FMC Technologies (TechnipFMC). Customers included Exxon, BP, Shell and many more. I consider myself a skilled professional with a mindset that can be advantageous for my employer. I have worked with international teams, and enjoyed the experience greatly.

I am quick to learn new skills and always looking for interesting and innovative projects.

AWARDS

Gold Award, FMC Technologies, Customer-Centered, 12/10/2015

“Candace was appointed as the lead designer for the HPHT 20K Choke project. She helped develop early concepts and supported the project on a full-time basis for creation of part reports, generating the 3D Models, completing detail drawings, and preforming full drafting checks, Her hard work, along with efforts of the entire project team, led to the successful and ahead of schedule release of FMC’s first 20K choke.”

Gold Award, FMC Technologies, Quality, 2/24/2015

“You are being recognized for improving our NX feature modeler by suggesting to add a drill point to all autoclave port sketches. This eliminates workarounds when an intersecting port is required and now cuts the time it typically takes to add these features to our 3D models. The significance in the amount of savings associated with this change is estimated at 15 minutes of time per port used in models and a potential of up to $6,000 in PONC in a single year. You’ve embraced the Five Absolutes of Quality and have demonstrated a prevention mindset which encourages others around you to also drive organizational continuous improvement. Job well done”
