FRANK V. BORRELLI
BIOGRAPHICAL OUTLINE
After leaving the Academy because my football injury caused the medical staff to deem me non-commissionable, I matriculated to Villanova University where I received a BS in Mathematics/Education ‘66, coached high school football from ’63-’69, and taught high school math ’66-‘69.
Marie and I married in ’65 and have three children, Vincent, Villanova, ’90; Nicole, Villanova, ’91; Dina, Old Dominion, ’93, who have blessed us with 8 grandchildren, ranging in age from 21 years to 5 years. We see them when we can, given they live in Illinois, Montclair, NJ, and Delaware.
I started in the computer business in ’69 as a system engineer with RCA Computer Systems. I held various positions in the financial services industry selling computer products and services and working in banking.
I founded my first software-and-services company in ’84 and a second in ’91. Both were sold by ’93.
I developed the North American business and market for two European software firms through ’01.
I have held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of two troubled community banks in Philadelphia, and positioned them to be purchased. I currently am actively developing another software company.
We still live in the Philadelphia area. We are in Voorhees Township, NJ: 25 minutes from Phila.
Marie works as a Pediatric Practice Coordinator for Cooper University Health System.
I’m thinking about taking up golf, but cannot quite find the time. However, I am a social member of our local country club, anticipating the opportunity.
