Attained by achieving a reduction of the delinquent order backlog by $200k in 6 months, cutting of the W IP inventories from 4 months to 1 week, increase of capacity by 40% without capital expenditure, attainment and maintenance of 98%+ on time shipments, improvement of on-time shipments by 60% in 6 months, and the reduction of delivery times by 20%.

•Bolstered PM and calibration programs. Preventive maintenance and calibration activities for the site were manually driven and often missed. Responsible for organizing the site team to drive PM and calibration to a higher level of visibility and manageability to include; installation of an electronic scheduling system, providing readily retrievable documentation of the schedules and reports, and greatly improved traceability for compliance and auditing purposes.

•Improved customer satisfaction. Ensured that the new site location in NY was in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, improved responsiveness to major customers in the NY, NJ, CT area. Epichem provides specialty chemicals for the semiconductor industry.

•Oversaw quality assurance, EHS regulations, supply chain and maintenance along with leading a team of 20 employees and training them on quality and EHS compliance.

•Streamlined purchasing. Cut the purchasing backlog from 9 to 2.5 weeks without adding staff in a growth mode of 50% annually. a purchasing system, which cut material and purchasing costs as well as inventory while improving material and availability.

•Attained Key certifications by leading a team to quality the plant in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

•Managed manufacturing, supply chain, inventories, maintenance, planning and shipping/receiving.

•Increased productivity and quality. Introduced demand flow (Kan Ban) to manufacturing. Implemented and maintained TQM, Kaizen, LEAN manufacturing, work simplification, and an ISO9001 program. Participated in the introduction and management in a Six Sigma World.
