EXPERIENCE:

Post Graduation in MD Microbiology from Govt. Stanley Medical College, Chennai. (graduated Nov 2017) (3 year course)

Worked as Medical Officer on temporary basis at Indus International School; Bangalore. (January 2013 – June 2013)

Worked in cardiology project (ICMR) under CMC,Vellore (6months).

Worked in Duncan Mission Hospital ;Raxaul - for two and a half years as Junior Medical Officer which included deputations to two other sister concerns ; Prem Sewa Hospital at Utraula and Broadwell Hospital at Fatehpur.

SKILLS:

I have worked in medical and paediatric casualty as part of posting and have learnt lifesaving procedures.

I have performed 340 caesarean sections, 10 laparotomies for rupture uterus. Assisted laparotomies for rupture uterus, ectopic pregnancy and per partum hysterectomies . I have also done quite a number of D&C and laparotomies.

Worked in Family Medicine OPD in CMC,Vellore for 6 months.

As a PostGraduate, I have done my postings in Media Preparation, Bacteriology, Mycology, Immunology and 2month posting in Virology.

Bacteriology: I have undergone training in sample processing in suitable culture media and their preliminary identification as well as their final identification by various biochemical reactions and reporting of antibiotic sensitivity pattern following CLSI guidelines.

Mycology: Routine mycology KOH,LPCB Mounting,Fungal culture.Attended workshop on Basic and Molecular Diagnostics in Mycology.

Immunology:ELISA –HBV, HCV,DENGUE IgM, HLA Typing-Microcytotoxicity.HIV- Rapid tests and ELISA.

Attended posting and seminar on detection of autoantibodies-Indirect Immuno fluorescence assay in MMC,Chennai.

Parasitology: Stool ova and cyst identification –saline mount, iodine mount, Modified AFB staining. QBC. Attended workshop on PCR- Malaria.

Virology- Two months posting in Kings Institute,Guindy,Chennai- ELISA –JE, Scrub typhus IgM, HBV,HCV, RT-PCR-H1N1.
