Human Resources Generalist

Provide HR services and senior leadership for a 400+ employee distribution center including 1 direct report. Support recruitment and selection, employee relations, implementation and coordination of policies and procedures, ongoing merit and step review process, community outreach, benefits administration, recognition programs and regulatory compliance.

Recruitment & Selection Conduct all aspects of large-scale interview events (100-400 candidates) including: managing requisition approval process, strategic transfers, and employment offers.

Human Resource Executive Team Leader

Produced 7 recruiting events resulting in 3 management position hires in 90 days. Analyze data to determine cost effectiveness of recruitment sources, turnover trends, cost per recruitment.

Employee Relations Attend EDD court hearings with 100% favorability. Assist managers in policy interpretation, solution recommendation and suggested course of action. Advise and review disciplinary actions to ensure consistency and adherence to company policy. Conduct investigations and respond to hotline issues. Annual Merit Manage the performance appraisal/merit review process by mentoring leaders how to write fair and effective reviews keeping within budget restraints. Responsible for local compliance with salary guidelines.

Benefits Employee benefits liaison in order to improve worker retention with non-wage compensations. Coordinate the administration of employee benefit programs, including approval of tuition reimbursement.
