Professional Experience

2012-Present: Test Engineer Developer, Verizon/Networkfleet Company in San Diego CA USA

Developed a new Parallel Testing platform in Labview from scratch which cut in half the test time.

Developed test cases in Python using Unittest for faster response and open source software to avoid costs.

Develop test cases using selenium to integrate hardware and web services so automation was possible.

Handle Embedded Linux systems and PC systems to save costs in hardware licenses.

Developed tests using GPS, OBDII protocols, Cellular signals, Accelerometer, Bluetooth and Wifi to test a more complete scenario like the device is being used in the field to avoid Quality problems.

2005-2012: Associate Staff Product engineer, Scientific Atlanta/Cisco/Foxconn Juarez Mexico

Coordinate the group of product engineers and technicians in charge of introducing and sustaining highly complex production products.

Fix any design issues the product may have, fix Bill of material issues as well as train the engineers so they can resolve any problem during the introduction and production of the product.

Coordinate any test equipment issues, like capability tests (below 1.33 cpk) and/or R&R studies not passing.

Responsible for the introduction and maintenance of QPSK modulators, QPSK demodulators, optical products and satellite receivers and transmitters. (I was trained in Atlanta Georgia, Phoenix Arizona and Toronto Canada.)
