Procurement engineer at Ezz Steel :

Position: senior purchasing specialist.

Location: Suez, Egypt.

Company: Ezz flat steel Company.

Job Responsibility.

.Ensuring the company selects the most appropriate equipment’s electrical, mechanical,spare parts and services the basis of price, quality, delivery times and services support, taking in consideration the requester interests.

.Follow up purchase requests (PR).

.Conduct market survey and analysis of material cost and prices.

.Create Request for Quotation (RFQ) and sending it to different vendors to get offers.

.Create Purchase Order (PO), follow up goods receiving, create internal invoice, create request for payment to vendor.

.Follow up the PO’s deliveries and payment.

.Evaluate the vendors to get qualified vendor list.

.Ensure that all activities are handled in line with safety regulations.

.Prepare all reports related to purchasing activities required (daily, monthly and yearly). Optimization of process and tool parameters at suppliers Based on the tool specifications, sending out RFQs to the part supplier and toolmaker respectively.

.Supporting Technical team during operation.

Identification, Analyze and Validate of all received requirements in requisition for Equipment issued by Projects.

Maintain accurate database records with the credible suppliers to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard.

Track the shipment of equipment to handle delivery and inspection of items and report any surplus/defective equipment during and after the completion of projects.

Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement.

Submit periodic reports as required.

Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department.

Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and environmental aspects.

.Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection and/or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.

. Estimates values according to knowledge of market price, determines method of procurement such as direct purchase, quotes or bid.
