OPTO International is a 40 million dollar, world class, designer and manufacturer of high quality retail fixture display systems.
Work closely with the executive management team (CEO and VP’s) to execute high-level plans for continued growth of the OPTO business.

Supervisory responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Procurement Department and Administrative personnel overseeing a 15 million dollar annual spend of raw material, sub-assemblies and components.
Authored numerous departmental policies and procedures to meet ISO/FDA requirements.
Developed a supplier performance scorecard to categorize preferred, approved, marginal and probationary suppliers. Issued scorecards on a monthly basis, along with SCAR requests to all marginal/probationary suppliers. Worked with procurement team on timely closure of all open responses.
Established "product councils" with all key suppliers. Quarterly meetings established, with cross-functional teams from each location, to discuss quality, delivery, process and cost improvements along with technology exchanges. Acted as secretary for the council to assure meeting minutes/action items were properly documented and detailed supplier files were established and maintained.
Successfully implemented formal Kanban and Vendor Managed Inventory programs on 75% of all active components, resulting in a 40% reduction of raw material inventories over a 24 month time period.
