September 2015 to Present:

Project Planning and Cost Control Engineer at “Descon Engineering Ltd, Lahore,pakistan”

Responsibilities:

I am working as Project Planning and Cost Control Engineer at different projects of Descon Engineering Ltd.

This involves:

Complete working for scheduling and costing in SAP PS, Primavera P6 and other in-house systems which are used by Descon for executing and monitoring the projects.

Core User of SAP PS

Creation of Project in Primavera P6 and SAP PS.

Creation of work breakdown structure (WBS).

Development of Baseline Schedules using Primavera P6.

Planning and Scheduling of all Project activities on Primavera P6 and SAP.

Preparation of Level-I/II/III/IV plan for projects in Primavera P6.

Calculate actual BOQ from drawings and make a comparison between budgeted and actual quantities.

Histogram from P6 against actual and planned activities, sort out bottlenecks and prepare look forward plans to mitigate the delayed activities.

Planning and Scheduling and progress updating and monitoring of all Project activities on Primavera P6 and SAP.

Improve effectiveness of Projects monthly Performance Review by timely completing KPI's, PSS and Project review reports and obtaining proper justification against variations between planned and actual.
