The Heath Information Technician is the liaison between the various hospital departments and the HIM department. This position communicates through telephone, email, goggle documents, office 365, or face-to- face with various departments regarding documentation, charges, denials, etc. This position calculates and charges the observation hours and the start and stop times of injection and infusions.
