One of the greatest decisions I have made in my life was to becoming a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line. This is a volunteer opportunity I take part in. It has taught me a lot about the importance of helping others and has allowed me to learn a lot about myself. Helping to save people from crisis has enabled me to understand how to effectively communicate with others during highly stressful times. I can see how being a crisis counselor is going to assist me professionally in many different ways and the positive impact it is having on my life.
