Experience
As a Conformation Clerk, my duties consisted of verifying urine samples with the paper work that came with the sample. Loading the sample on to the Mass Spec, and logging that information into the logbook for that machine. I also mixed chemical solvents for the different machines to run the urine samples. Wearing safety equipment at all times. I also did some other things that were not part of my job description, such as troubleshoot, replace, or repair, and test the electrical and electronic components on the Mass Spectrometers that Ameritox uses to for urine conformations. I was told that the person that xes the Mass Specs needed some help so I agreed to help the team.
My duties consisted of receiving bad parts and issuing out new parts. Taking inventory of over 3000 parts. Adding and removing parts from the inventory using dedicated computer programs. Keeping my work area safe at all times. Wearing proper safety equipment at all times. Preparing parts for shipment and keeping my supervisor advised when parts or equipment were running low. My duties consisted of troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and replacing all communication equipment related to any department or squadron located at MCAS Yuma and remote sites. I also supplied communication support for visiting squadrons whenever needed. I installed radios, light bars, intercoms, and antennas on all the Military Police vehicles, Fire department vehicles, and maintenance vehicles. I also maintained all the radios in the Air Trafc Control Tower.
My duties consisted of troubleshooting, repair, replace, and test blower motors, lights, light switches, wiring, ballast, outlets, g's, aircraft runway lights, squadron grounding points, and any other piece of equipment or item that required electrical power. I've even changed obstruction lights on top of water towers. Aircraft Avionics/Electronics Tech
