WORK EXPERIENCE:
September 2015 – October 1 2017 - Youth and Gender coordinator and Small Grant coordinator for United States Peace Corps
Responsible for Let Girls Learn projects and support Peace Corps Volunteers to have successful projects applying Let Girls Learn
Responsible for receiving grant proposals from volunteers and review and provide applicants feedback from Small Grant Committee Members
In coordination with post’s Small Grants Committee, manage the Volunteer grant program:
Coach Volunteers and their community partners on the development of appropriate and promising proposals.
Participate in and/or lead posts’ grants review committee.
Monitor and tracks implementation of grants.
Provide technical support in closing out projects and evaluating impact.
Monitor ongoing project progress and report to the administrative
Ensures integration of gender and youth training content throughout post’s training continuum.
Deliver training on gender content in coordination with programming and training staff.
At the request of post leadership provide training to post staff on gender issues approaches.
