Project Title : Implementation of VLSI based gray level morphology with FPGA

Organization : Micro Track Industries

Platform used : Xilinx Platform studio

Description : This project dealt with Mathematical Morphology Operators, applied in many vision based applications. This study present and evaluates real-time hardware architecture for a grey- level image erosion and dilation process. Low Complexity and highly modular architecture is proposed based on a sequence of pipeline stages and parallel processing in order to minimize computational times. Objective of our project to increase the speed of image and it reconfigurable to future purpose and to realize the process of image segmentation on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array).It is commonly accepted by the medical community that automatic quantification of retinal vessel is the first step in the development of a computer-assisted diagnostic system for Ophthalmic Disorders.

Project Title : Real time implementation of coin based mobile charger

Description : Real time implementation of Coin based Mobile Charger

The proposed system is meant to charge the mobile phone. This system looks very useful in bus stand, railway station, even in shopping malls etc. The consumer has to insert the coin in the machine and the machine recognize the coin and if it is a valid coin it gives a signal to the microcontroller, this in turn activates the relay and the socket gets the power supply, there we can connect a mobile charger and charge the mobile phone.

Also the timer starts counting the time and detaches the connection once the system supplies the charge to that amount inserted in the coin acceptor machine. A display unit will be there to indicate the lapsed time. The system includes a coin acceptor, microcontroller, display unit, and a power supply unit for charging the mobile phone.
