Manager Accounts Receivables

Ancillary Roles: Assistance to Executive Vice President (Head of Compliance Department on) on issues of critical importance w.r.t project collectables; Project Coordination at Corporate Finance

o Controller of invoices issuance: verification of invoice promoted from project managers against activity logs of central logistics, and data analysis departments and issue correct invoice in a timely manner for technically accepted milestone (Mobilization, Successful Pig Run & Reporting) also ensuring contract specific legal and administrative timelines are adhered which lead to successful processing of invoice by client vendor management system.

oPreparation of Invoice Batches (Both Customer invoices and intercompany invoices under back to back off-shore / intercompany contracts).

o Oversee general ledger posting of invoices entered by territorial Accountants in Africa, India, Russia CIS and Europe on both Oracle R12 AR Module and In-house ERP.

o Receivables ageing for submission to lenders and Weekly Cash-inflow projection report.

o Support Project Director in a collective and effective response to Client Dispute and grievance w.r.t technical works approvals. Attend weekly project department meetings to represent technical and administrative issues of critical importance for meeting collection targets.

o Schedule collection follows up and guides project coordinators for strong business correspondences via email, letter and fax to project engineers in client organizations with the consent of respective project focal contact (project manager).

o Liaise with the legal advisor for avoidance and resolve of legal complications emanating from technical disputes.

o Prepare paperwork and manage collections received under back to back Letter of Credits.

oAssist in Commercial Review of contracts with agents and sub-contractors at the negotiation stage. Suggesting terms of payment that reflect positively on company cash-flows in adverse circumstances.
