Description :
The main goal of this project is to save the power on DC motor using 8051 Micro Controller based on the user inputs like motor ON/OFF, LED ON/OFF times. We will give these inputs using UART protocol from keyboard, and this data is stored in EEPROM using I2C protocol in the address location. Parallelly, RTC (Real Time Clock) is running round the clock is connected to LCD to display the time. Whenever, the RTC output is matching with those inputs, which are read from memory using I2C protocol, automatically the DC motor will be ON/OFF based on the input ON/OFF time. This operating status of the DC motor can be visualized in LED, which depends on the ON/OFF time. Because the motor is residing farther to our working location. In this way, we can operate the motor in power save mode without any manual effort.
We can use this methodology in Agriculture industry, where farmer can see the status of the water pump from his house, instead of going to farm this is one of the usage example. This can be used at various industries based on the application.
