Project Name : Fault Detection and Correction in Induction Motor

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Protection of an induction motor (IM) against possible problems such as overvoltage, over current, over temperature, occurring in the course of its operation is carried out. In this study, a new protection method based on a programmable logic controller (PLC) has been introduced. The voltages, currents, speed, and temperature values of the motor, and the problems occurred in the system, are monitored and warning messages are shown on the LCD screen. Hence the fault in the motor is detected and it is corrected.
