Project Material Controller is responsible to receive fuel at site. This will include measuring density, checking quantity and informing the site project managers.

The site material controller will be monitoring morning and evening dipstick and meter reading in the main tanks and mobile tanker. He will be responsible for maintaining the perfection of the dipsticks for the tanks. He will be responsible for the meter calibration service during the month.

The site Material Controller will be present on the fuel tanker on daily basis fueling the machines in the field.

The site Material Controller is responsible for dealing with consumptions and protection problems in the site. Monitoring the gadget protection daily status – drivers check on the equipment along with the field mechanic and security officer. He will be monitoring the daily consumption reports and the daily protection gadgets check at the site. He is responsible to coordinate with the sites workshop any fixing of gadgets.

Working with the site FMS (Fleet Management System) to monitoring high or low consumption. Training the clerks to cope with the program and dealing with reports .Producing reports for the site on a daily basis and managing problem till next day. The Material Controller will be responsible to activate all the FMS modules daily and report to IT about program problems. The Material Controller is in charge to compare the balance written by the fuel attendant to the consumptions.

SURVEILLANCE:

Hotel Security Officers must watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises .They often patrol hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars and restaurants. Some guards might be assigned to a stationary post, such as beside entrance .In hotels with video surveillance equipment, security officers might spend all or part of his shift watching the monitors for any suspicious activity.

ESCORT GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES:

Some hotels have bars or clubs, and occasionally a guest becomes intoxicated or combative. Depending on the circumstances and the hotel policy, the security officer may evict the guest, escort him to a taxi or detain him for the police. Security Officers might also need to evict loiterers or trespassers from time to time. Upon request, security officers should escort employees or guests to their vehicles especially if valet parking in unavailable and it is late at night.

RESPOND TO CALLS:

Fellow employees sometimes need assistance in dealing with a belligerent guest and call security for help. Guest might report a disturbance originating in another room or a suspicious character loitering in the stairwell. Security Officers may be dispatched by telephone or radio to assist or investigate.

MAINTAIN ORDER:

Hotel Security Officers are often responsible for enforcing rule. For example, he might have to prevent children from swimming in the pool alone if the hotel requires adult supervision of minors. If the hotel has a bar, he might have to screen the guests to ensure they are of age. Security Officers might be person to task with informing guest they are parked in a restricted area. In an emergency situation, hotel security officers might direct evacuation, or if a false alarm has sounded, they might need to help calm guests.

COMPLETE REPORTS:

Most hotels require security officers to keep a log or prepare a report of all activities during their shift. Guard’s make notes if they must evict a loiterer, find an unlocked door that should have been locked or respond to guests complaints. These reports can be beneficial for police officers investigating crimes.

As a Duty Security Supervisor my functions is to oversee guards who protect private property against theft and vandalism.
